Graduates who join Santander will complete a course that matches their ambitions and interests – and gain a recognised qualification once they complete it. The courses generally span around 18 months with time off for studying built in. With programmes in retail, finance, corporate and commercial banking, risk & compliance, and treasury, every graduate scheme is different, and the skills needed across each one will vary. Santander also offer various mentorship programmes and access to networks across the bank, with a variety of opportunities to help graduates develop the knowledge, skills and networks needed to launch an exceptional career. Successful participants will take part in a broad range of projects throughout the programme – rotating around different business areas to ensure they make the most of their time with Santander, and discover what truly inspires and drives them forward. By the end of the graduate programme, participants will have gained the professional experiences needed to help them decide what kind of story they want to write – and what next step to take in their careers.
