Shell UK is one of the UK’s largest energy producers, helping to supply around 10% of the UK’s oil and gas while investing in, and helping to build, the energy system of the future. Shell UK employs around 6,000 people, playing a major role in powering and fuelling the UK’s industry, transport and homes. The Shell Graduate Programme is a 2–3-year structured development programme for future leaders, offering outstanding career opportunities and real responsibility from the start. Shell will match graduates into one of four pathways based on skills and preference, including Commercial, Technical, Trading & Supply or Global Functions. All graduate positions will be based at Shell’s offices in central London or Aberdeen. The Shell Assessed Internship Programme is a 10–12-week placement, open to penultimate year students from all degree disciplines. During the programme, students will focus on completing a major project in their chosen business area with clear deliverables and outcomes, with the support and supervision of an experienced mentor. Assessed interns will take part in a formal mid-term and end-of-term review, and if successful, may be offered a position on the graduate programme. The Shell Graduate Programme offers world-class development and career opportunities with one of the world’s largest companies. Graduates will be assigned to a role with exciting challenges and have the chance to learn from experienced colleagues, with opportunities for additional training and coaching. Graduates will be supported in crafting a unique development plan tailored to their strengths and interests, focusing on building the skills required to become a future leader. After successfully completing the programme, graduates will start the next exciting phase of their career journey within their chosen business area.
