AECOM offers up to 150 undergraduate summer and industrial placements in all parts of the business and across all offices. These range from 6-weeks to 12-months and provide students with the opportunity to develop their technical skills and industry knowledge, experience the culture, and demonstrate their skills and attributes which may then lead to a permanent graduate role upon graduation. All of AECOM’s graduates complete the ADVANCE programme designed to help build their career at the firm. It includes instructor-led training sessions where they meet their peers and senior leadership, career development, wellbeing, project delivery, bidding, presentation skills and projects in action, to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. The programme also includes an online curriculum via AECOM University, webinars, networking opportunities, and full support towards accreditation with the relevant professional institution.
