AtkinsRéalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organisation. They work with clients on local, national and international projects across sectors including transportation, infrastructure, environment, water, energy, defence, technology, and aerospace. AtkinsRéalis offer a wide range of two-year graduate development programmes nationally across engineering, technical and non-technical disciplines. Roles typically include: environmental, project management, civil and structural engineering, ground engineering and tunnelling, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, human factors, transport planning, digital and technology, nuclear fusion, software, management consulting, rail consulting, data intelligence, chemical and process engineering, along with opportunities in airport planning and surveying. The graduate development programme features a series of training events and modules, professional development, mentoring and on-the-job experience, to help graduates gain the skills and knowledge they need to develop their career and work towards professional qualifications. Graduates join AtkinsRéalis from a wide range of disciplines including engineering, digital and technology, the sciences, mathematics, geography/GIS, project management, business studies, law, humanities, chemistry, data/computer science, and many more. AtkinsRéalis offer two types of placements: 8-week summer schemes and 12-month industrial placements. Both are full-time paid work posts, designed to support and complement the academic learning of undergraduate and postgraduate students who are studying a relevant degree. On joining, graduates enjoy an induction and settling-in buddy scheme to familiarise themselves with the organisation. They also join a vibrant, sociable early careers community.
